Jinnah Medical Construction Company (JMC) is a public-sector, not-for-profit organisation established under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017. As a state-owned enterprise, JMC is mandated to plan, design, and deliver healthcare infrastructure of national importance on behalf of the Government of Pakistan.
We manage the full lifecycle of healthcare construction, from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and handover. Our work is guided by strong governance, regulatory compliance, and a long-term commitment to safety, performance, and public value across Pakistan.

Purpose and Objectives
JMC exists to serve the public interest by strengthening Pakistan’s healthcare infrastructure and supporting long-term national healthcare capacity. Our purpose is to ensure that healthcare facilities are planned, designed, and delivered in accordance with international healthcare construction standards and infrastructure requirements aligned with Joint Commission International (JCI) principles, enabling facilities to support high-quality clinical services.

Core Project
Jinnah Medical Complex & Research Center
The Jinnah Medical Complex & Research Center (JMC&RC) is a nationally significant public-sector healthcare initiative mandated by the Federal Government. Conceived as a centre of excellence, the project is intended to strengthen Pakistan’s healthcare system by integrating advanced medical care, education, and research within a single, purpose-built complex.
JMC is the designated implementing agency responsible for the planning, construction, and delivery of the JMC&RC. Our role is to ensure that the complex is delivered in line with approved scope, regulatory requirements, and international healthcare infrastructure standards, and is fully prepared for transition to future clinical, academic, and research operations.
